A truly wonderful 15-day stay. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The toilets and showers are very clean. Everything you need is there: barbecue, bread, coffee – superb! Nothing more is needed, unlike some other campsites. A real and lovely campsite.
The owners are incredibly attentive; please don't change a thing. Thank you for your hospitality! 😉

A superb stay at a campsite surrounded by nature, at the foot of the mountains, in the forest and by the river. This human-scale site has owners who are welcoming, discreet, and helpful. Need a washbasin? Fancy a barbecue? No problem, and at no extra cost! A rare campsite where nature still reigns supreme. Thank you for everything, and congratulations on not giving in to the pressure of starred guides... Tipis (first week) or Tentabois (second week): Pure bliss! Don't change a thing

Hi Sylvain and Sabine, we'll be back next summer for two days
1967: We made our first trip to the Oisans region. Friends invited us to stay for three days. They shared the former apartments of the slate workers at the Venosc quarry, operated by Mr. Martin, the mayor of Venosc.
This house in "the town" faced the La Muzelle glacier and its waterfall. We
discovered the impressive road to La Bérarde, the Vénéon valley, and the Muzelle hike for the first time.
1969: We rented an apartment from Mr. Martin, and our eldest son took his first steps there. We experienced two historic events: Eddy Merckx's first victory in the Tour de France and the first moon landing. We were invited to watch this event live at the home of Mrs. Reynier, the mother of postman Jean-François Pottier, who, some thirty years later, would become one of our fishing companions on the Vénéon River!
We made regular trips to the Oisans region.
2012: For over ten years, we have been annual visitors to the charming La Cascade campsite in L'Alleau, run by Sabine and Sylvain Dussert.
With its verdant and peaceful setting (we never tire of the view of Venosc and its mountains!), this tranquil campsite is a haven of peace and an ideal starting point for our hikes to discover some of the treasures of this captivating region, which we hope to explore for many years to come in the company of our French friends at the campsite.

While out for a walk, we stumbled upon your campsite: it's superb!
We also took a peek inside your wood-paneled tents: fantastic! All that wood creates such a warm and inviting atmosphere. We just need to finalize our dates and book a stay in one of the wood-paneled tents. The concept is brilliant, and these accommodations, a mix of chalet and tent, are well-designed and truly lovely.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities were always spotless, the location is truly beautiful, the stream running alongside the campsite adds to its charm, the owners are very friendly and helpful, and all this for a very reasonable price. Thank you for allowing us to have such a wonderful time without breaking the bank. See you next year!.
Please excuse my poor French. My friends and I camped at your beautiful campsite last year for our holidays. We are returning to Venosc this week (Friday) for a week.

We had a wonderful stay, despite the unpredictable weather.
The children were delighted and had a great time; Manon was very happy to make a new friend, Clemence.

Beautifully located, a 30-minute walk from a waterfall, near the cable car to Les Deux Alpes. A quiet and charming spot with mountain views. Book here to support the owner who suffered significant damage during the last flood. There's some crane noise in the morning, but it's an exceptional situation due to post-flood repairs. I recommend it! (Note: Remember to bring your own toilet paper ;))
Another stay at La Cascade campsite... and another warm welcome just the way we like it: friendly, welcoming, and helpful. And a really affordable campsite. Thank you and see you next time.
