It was incredible, I love the little village of Venosc. The campsite is in a great location; I used it as a base camp for a morning hike to Lac de la Muzelle. It was quiet, the showers and toilets were clean, and there were electrical hookups too. I highly recommend it.
Beautiful views, peaceful, good value for money.

Amazing campsite! The pitch, the super well-equipped and clean wooden tent, the spotless sanitary facilities (I've never seen such clean facilities), and the kindness and helpfulness of the owners!
The region is magnificent, even after the devastating floods of June. Venosc is a charming hilltop village with pretty little streets, an excellent restaurant, and a lovely little church.
Highly recommended!
We will definitely be back with the family!

Back to my roots in 2012.
Still as peaceful and calming as ever.
Best of luck for the future and see you soon.

After the damage caused by the Vénéon River during its June flood (we were very close, it was quite impressive), the owners have managed to stay the course and their campsite is still fantastic! The road is closed, but they provide a shuttle service to pick us up at the bottom of the gondola lift in their car. The restaurants are also open. The gondola lift to Les Deux Alpes is free this summer, which is great! And there's no problem getting to the La Muzelle refuge.
A very well-run campsite that I highly recommend if you're hiking in the area. The prices are quite reasonable, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the common areas are very well maintained. Furthermore, the campsite rules are perfectly respected, and the clientele is calm and friendly. In short, a haven of peace once you've come down from the mountains, ideal for stargazing.

Fantastic campsite!

A campsite just the way we like them: no swimming pool, spa, or private jet runway...
I had a truly rejuvenating stay in this very pleasant setting, which (hopefully it stays that way!) hasn't been overrun by tourism. The only downside: noisy and intrusive neighbors 🙁
All the best, and see you next time.

I have excellent memories of this campsite:
- a charming setting
- outstanding earthworks, the pitches are as flat as billiard tables
- the token-operated showers are a great idea: they save water, no one stays in the shower for hours so there's no waiting
- the urinals are really convenient!

Good evening.
We're going to Camping La Cascade, which we've loved for many years, but always in a tent.
This year, we're going to try a tipi.
If you're familiar with it, could you tell me what's inside?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards.

Forty years of camping, dozens of them, from farm campsites to 5-star establishments, almost all in the south of France. But my fourth stay at La Cascade deeply moved me. I now regret not having extended it even longer; it lasted six weeks, having retired at the beginning of 2019. I also regret having taken such a long break (16 years) from this place, but the mountains with young children (having them late in life) weren't easy. Another regret is not being able (for the moment) to share this paradise again with my wife and children, now 16 and 21. I said paradise because this campsite truly is one: the magnificent setting, the layout, the kindness of Sylvain, Sabine, and Aurore, the cleanliness, the simplicity, etc. No need for organized activities; everything you need is nearby, especially if you have good walking shoes and a bicycle, and you appreciate the peace and quiet after a day's exertion in the mountains! This place is ideal for me right now, and I can't wait to go back for an even longer stay next year.
Very friendly campsite. Great welcome. Very clean and comfortable chalet.

Our annual pilgrimage (the 5th). I've been taking my son here since he was 5.
The owner is very friendly and helpful. The
mountain campsite is very pleasant and much cheaper than others.
The pizza truck day is a real treat and a great atmosphere.
The location is superb; it's the gateway to the Écrins National Park and the wild, uncrowded high mountains. It's a shame the glaciers are receding... but it's the same in Chamonix ;-((
The downhill at Les Deux Alpes is fantastic; you can keep going until 8 pm if your legs still have the energy!
And for everything else, there's via ferrata, treetop adventure courses, road cycling, walks, rafting, and a swimming pool to relax in, a charming little village... in short, there's no way to get bored and it's hard to leave.
All the best to everyone.
