Guestbook
Forty years of camping, dozens of them, from farm campsites to 5-star establishments, almost all in the south of France. But my fourth stay at La Cascade deeply moved me. I now regret not having extended it even longer; it lasted six weeks, having retired at the beginning of 2019. I also regret having taken such a long break (16 years) from this place, but the mountains with young children (having them late in life) weren't easy. Another regret is not being able (for the moment) to share this paradise again with my wife and children, now 16 and 21. I said paradise because this campsite truly is one: the magnificent setting, the layout, the kindness of Sylvain, Sabine, and Aurore, the cleanliness, the simplicity, etc. No need for organized activities; everything you need is nearby, especially if you have good walking shoes and a bicycle, and you appreciate the peace and quiet after a day's exertion in the mountains! This place is ideal for me right now, and I can't wait to go back for an even longer stay next year.
